Some of you may know that we have produced Cambridge Wildlife trading cards as a way to interest children in the local urban wildlife species in our city. Most cards bear illustrations that we have commissioned from youth artists in Cambridge, with a few exceptions. Many also include photographic images of the species from iNaturalist and used either with explicit permission and copyrighted or through the Creative Commons license. We are grateful to the photographers who have made these images available
After some years, we have added to our collection with these species. We begin to hand out the cards free to children today at Fresh Pond Reservation's annual Monarch Release and Celebration. The three new cards are:
