Hello-
I live in Lubbock, TX and currently a graduate student at Texas Tech University. Much of my research takes me out into Lubbock and see various plants and wildlife. I will share photos when I can to confirm sightings of species or when I need help identifying something.

Great! Welcome to iNat! :) There are some superb iNatters up in the panhandle: @amzapp @dare2bloom @ellen5 are a few of my favorite people. :)
Thanks for the tag, Sam!.
We're really happy that Matthew has joined our TX master naturalist training program, and is going to do the Nature Trackers projects. We've got a great class this year, so you ought to see an uptick in activity up here on the Llano.
Woo hoo!!! Make sure EVERYONE knows about the City Nature Challenge: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/city-nature-challenge-2018-amarillo
Palo Duro Canyon is just a few hours north! ;)
yessiree; they have that calendar item on the most recent handout.
Personally, I'm very interested in revisiting Alibates and Buffalo Lake NWR. Do you have any other venues that you recommend?
Yes! We had a Citizen Science/iNat training session this past weekend, taught by none other than @ellen5 herself.
Sam is one of our favorite people, too!
Looking at what's been recorded up there, it looks like Alibates is the most needing of observations -- I wonder what's there! :)
I am positive there are more than 20 species there.
Prove it, Ellen! Prove it! ;)
The Lubbock Master Naturalist group is heading up to Alibates in March. We should be adding quite a few observations during the visit.
