Hej, I’m a mycologist with an interest in fungal ecology and conservation and my specialty is in the DNA metabarcoding of soils. I primarly focus on ectomycorrhizal fungi because of their conservation value and niche - many species are threatened due to the clear cutting of forest ecosystems but they are also important conduit for belowground carbon allocation and soil organic matter turnover.
