In less than a year we added 500 more species, which sums now to 1.500 species in Pelion.
We know that Pelion is a biodiversity hotspot but many species still haven't been recorded and very few people are interested in them.
It's a free field guide for those who are recording Butterflies and Moths (Lepidoptera) of Pelion (Greece).
It's available here: https://www.inaturalist.org/guides/13418, and it can be used offline with the inaturalist app (if you download it through the app) and also can be printed in various formats (Journal, Grid, Book).
In a few months we have reached and passed 1.000 species. We know that Pelion is a biodiversity hotspot but unfortunately hasn't been recorded and very few people are interested for it.
Check out our new webpage of the project: https://projectwoop.weebly.com/
Don't forget to check the "Aliens" and the "Scientific research" pages. In Aliens species, for now, we have added all the alien marine species that have been found and recorded in Pelion.
More are coming soon. Tune in our news here!
