Description
Fairly spread-out shrub, swarming with European honeybees and bumblebees. Several plants (at least 6) located along a trail near the Trump National Golf Club. Purple-white flowers and spherical, red berries (only a few pictured in the background of the second photo, but there were many more, albeit many more flowers than berries)

Thickets up to 1.5m high along footpaths in forest.
Flowers only 8mm diameter.
Leaves up to 120mm long by 90mm wide.
Leaves eaten by insects, and hunting grounds for Lynx spiders. Pollen and nectar collected by various insects.
Nasty suspicion that its alien?
