Yay, it's still there! This one small specimen is in a very small west-facing bluff prairie remnant, overlooking the Mississippi river in the Twin Cities. Every spring I check to see if it has survived another year.

I thought this bat was dead at first, then it started hissing at me when I approached. It got up and flew off a few minutes later.
