Photo 1:
A Blue Jay Screamed At Me
I heard a blue jay screaming. Looked out my window & could not see Frick. But I saw a jay not just yelling but also darting towards the owl house then breaking away at the last moment. When I went outside the jay flew off. Frick was peering out a bit back from the opening. He is usually chill but looks a bit perturbed this time.
Hey Jay, karma's a bitch. Blue jays are on the menu for screech owls, usually taken at night while sleeping.
Photo 2:
Funky Feathers
You have some serious bedhead going on top there. But at least I can see more of your eyes for once. Frick has the best stink eye around.
