Taken on day 1 of camping trip to Guadalupe Mountains National Park, on the Devil's Hall Trail.
We were excited to see this Ringtail just behind the top of a large rock. It was eating a snake and didn't seem very concerned with us. This is probably our best wildlife sighting of the trip. I was just a little sorry I didn't get to see its tail!
Territorial male hatched in 2010 and monitored every year from 2011 through 2021+
