Description
All of these insects were on the shady side of sunflower leaves during the hot part of the day on two plants. It was like an insect high-rise hotel, with different species on different leaves.

(The bee was visiting the flowers of Candy Flower in a rather deep forest ravine dropping toward a creek.)

Description
Though I hope this is a rusty-patched bumblebee, my only evidence is that the software's first identifion was this. This was in a new prairie that was planted a couple years ago and not mowed. I added 3 more photos of what I think is the same bee.
