Description
It's is hidden underneath the sand. I've seen small electric rays nearby so I am taking a guess that this is what that is. Almost invisible except for the two spiracles on the left.
Second picture. I got it to move a little but I didn't want to bother it too much.

Description
Another throng of sharks and rays cast ashore on the spoil island- all intact, without wounds to suggest hook and line capture or abrasion from nets. All of the bodies were gathered together in an area of around 15 square feet- I assume the tide gathered them all together?
I observed two rays (genus Hypanus), three bonnetheads, one common blacktip, and one atlantic sharpnose- I posted observations of every individual.

Description
14" long ray that bit some shrimp on a sabiki rig
Appeared to have a blunt tail and no stabber. Just some rough scales on the base of tail. similar to what some skate have on their wings.
