There were three potential parents there, G conopsea, odoratissima, and rhellicani - but from the colour, the latter two would seem like the most likely suspects...

ID very tentative. Help appreciated.
Seen on a tree stump.
In the field this reminded me of @elias105's observation 149950754, identified by @sarahlloyd as Oligonema. iNat thinks it's different, pretty sure it's Hemitrichia but also suggesting Arcyria versicolor. Those meet up at Arcyriaceae, but I really don't know anything about slime molds so I'm going all the way up to Trichiales to cover Oligonema also.
As exciting as it was to find a slime mold, I about lost it when I noticed it had a a tiny spider (152796831) !!! I don't know what the relationship is between the spider and the slime mold, or if there even is one.
