I found it not far from West Palm last year while on the boat.
I'm not sure if it is unusual to see leatherbacks during summer.

Track is almost exactly 3 3/4” in length and width. Bobcat would be approximately 1 1/2” in length and 1 3/8” across. Lynx tracks can be up to 5 inches wide in deep snow. However, this track appears to be recent, and the snow was old and hardened. In additional, the thick lodgepole pine woods along with rocky outcroppings make for ideal lynx habitat.

This observation is for the prey. This smallish alligator swam up with it already captured, tried for 20 minutes to toss it back, and in the end swam away with the duck still gripped in its jaws.

This is not my photo. I did not have a camera when we were walking along North Lake Whatcom Trail. A neighbor later sent this to me.
Why the mountain lion was swimming in the lake in broad daylight is a mystery. It does look pretty young though.
