I don't have a good shot yet of a mississippi kite but I'm very hopeful. There is a pair known to nest at my daughter's new home. When I visited the first time recently, the first kites had just been seen in the area. And I saw a few soaring high in the sky above her home. For now this shot will have to do but fingers crossed for a nest there again.

We (the Orange Beach Wildlife Center) were sent out on a call to investigate a bobcat in the Gulf State Park - he turned out to be a juvenile and ran off as we approached his hiding spot.
