@clauden @tesserazoa2 @cemills I cannot discern anchors in any of these photos which, afaik, eliminates Manania and Haliclystus. However, in Lucernaria the arrangement of the arms and tentacles looks as though there are four arms each with two tentacle clusters — here I observe eight arms. Also seems small for Lucernaria — I estimate this specimen was two inches long.

Coastal foredune, with Ammophila breviligulata. First of this year. This species was significantly impacted by Hurricane Fiona. No fruits were found in Fall of 2022, 3 were found in all of 2023 (2 at this site), and today 50+, nice to see them back.

This is a funny one... It seems like it's been a banner year for lady crabs around some of the sites I frequent. I easily observed a dozen in a short dive the evening this photo was taken. Eventually I started to get trained finding the ones that were under cover and not just roaming around. Just eyes and antennae poking out! If you're too disruptive, they'll explode out of the sand, but I could photograph if I moved slowly and deliberately.

Solamen glandula or Arvella faba.
I am inclined to call it S.glandula because the ribs seem slightly beaded.
Two other partial shells of the same species posted separately.
