1)Estimated body length of photographed species: 13-14 inches. Varying body cross sectional sizes in group.
2) Dark coloured covered in white spots.
3)Travelled in a group of same species.
4) snout had white gums with top snout overhang.

8-10 cm. Caught in my co-worker’s minnow trap.
In what can only be described as an epic moment, we pulled over to look at some Sharp-tailed Grouse, and then noticed a Northern Hawk Owl on a pole right beside the grouse, and then a few seconds later this Gyrfalcon flies over and circles overhead for a couple minutes.
Found on gravely stream bank on a rainy day.
