Description
At least one of the ant-mimicking nymphs from https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/241370088 has matured into a Trilaccus nigroruber adult. I have closed the container and will check tomorrow for both of them and then release them unless there is anything else you would want me to do @lehelind

It’s amazing how many critters come from outside, end up in the kitchen sink, and need to be rescued and put outside again.

Description
Measured an adult at 10 mm.
At night, they were on the trunk of a tall, bare Pandanus spiralis in groups. Appeared to be feeding but couldn't work out on what. There were ants in attendance.
Seemed to be doing this all through the night but in the morning there was no sign of them or the ants. The next night they were back again doing the same thing. The ants have a nest at the base of the Pandanus.

This was tiny, perhaps 2mm. Likes to perch on grass stems and wave its front legs around before jumping to a new spot. Caliscelis is the closest match I could find.

This male must have patiently waited while a female laid a perfect batch of eggs onto his back! Not a very common sight.
