A pair of Great Blues, one of which lands on the Little Boone, one of the 3 boats in the "fleet" owned by Anderson Ferry. This business has been in continual operation since 1817. This is also the first time I've seen 2 GB Herons together.
I am 66 years old, and I have spent many days on this stretch of the Ohio River since I was a kid. I have never seen this species anywhere on the river prior to this. I won't swear this is a Royal Tern, so any help is appreciated.
