Description
Female green Lynx spider (Peucetia vididans)with egg sac on tar weed. Observed several other lynx spiders with egg sac in the same area, a natural spring seepage covering an area 75 ft by 150 ft. Mount Diablo foothills.

Description
According to Starrett and Hedin's review of the different cryptic species within the A. riversi complex, this is very near the southwestern edge of the "Valley" spider clade. This makes sense in the shape of their turrets which are very similar to those at Pinnacles N.P., but quite different from those at Point Lobos.
