This guy was very curious, and came out to the edge of the woods to see me. Not real smart of him considering it's hunting season.

After listening to lots of presentations at the Wildlife Society Conference, I decided to jump over to a nature center in Louisville -- it was a windy day but a great one! Spotted some neat things here.

Description
Lone male guanaco found eating grass at los West Winds campsite in Patagonia National Park. The guanaco is about 2 m tall with brownish orange hair on top and white hair bellow. It is eating the green grass, likely because it has more water content. It appears to enjoy the open area more for safety and periodically looks up and around to check for predators. The weather is 60% cloudy, 15 C, and 4 winds. After an hour, it called out, sounding like a horse, and then galloped to the west.
