Growing in mossy bank near hiking trail in oak/hickory woodland. Cap thin and shiny with concentric rings. Stem dark brown, centrally attached to cap. Pore surface dull brownish gray with irregular pores. KOH black on all surfaces.

Images captured on motion-triggered camera near wildlife pond. Puma appears to be rolling/vegetation flattening. Tracks were observed in the area the day before
Uncommon at this location; only two previous sightings since I've been regularly visiting beginning in 2002: Sept 24 2004 and Sept 30 2007. Another was spotted only a few weeks ago, however, a little north of this location northeast of Harrison in Sowbelly Canyon (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/34763438)
