I measure corolla widths of 2.9, 3.0, 2.1, and 2.4 mm in the first four pix. These are plants probably on their last few flowers, since nearby plants were completely in fruit; see my next post of Plantago ovata:

It looks like these flowers are at about node 8 (or higher) from the base.
