These plants probably escaped from a nearby native plants garden, and they seem to be seeding themselves around a bit.

Calling any Trillium experts. Is this just a red trillium, I included a picture of it next to white and what I know is red trillium (on the right and last two
close ups for comparison) because it just looks different. The plants are larger, with longer stems so they droop below the leaves and have white/gray anthers instead of yellow.

Could this be T. grandiflorum f. roseum, that opens with light pink petals instead of the common white. It can be found in the Blue Ridge Mountains in mixed colonies.

Looks like Trillium grandiflorum, but the leaves are distinctly different. Leaves are stalked (petioled) when T. grandiflorum are sessile

Description
When identifying this plant, first I wanted to identify to family. This plant contained an ocrea, when the stipules are connately fused together, and the ocrea is only present in the Polygonaceae family. This plant did look similar to Persicaria pensylvanica but this plant was lower to the ground and not as tall as P. pensylvanica. This plant’s inflorescence was a dense, spike-like raceme and each flower had five pink-white tepals. Because of these key features, I identified this plant to Persicaria longiseta.

I am calling this tree a hybrid because the leaves were slightly lustrous and only hairy underneath on the veins. But it much more strongly resembles M. rubra than M. alba. I wonder if the dramatic difference in leaf size has anything to do with hybrid status.
