Description
If you were a cicada and looked up and saw image 1, it might mean you are about to have a bad day. We saw at least 12 individuals today, several times all 12 were in view at the same time high in the air and vocalizing. A spectacular sight!

Description
Found in the tall grasses near a small pond at the wildlands conservancy.
