Thought it was Anthemis cotula so didn’t look closer. WRONG. They were abundant at this site.
Leaves thin, papery transparent, yellow flowers at top, symmetrical off shoots foot tall with slight asymmetry leaves remind me of bay leaves in shape red tint on edges latitude 37.8483 longitude -121.9324
Haven't seen the two colors together before.
Three plants growing below Sambucus nigra ssp. caerulea at 3700 feet in elevation . Previous plants at this site were identified to this species by Alison Colwell ( contributor to Orobanche section of The Jepson Manual ) .

Wall Point Road . I believe that this individual plant was previously identified by Dr. Barbara Ertter on a hike .
Growing within Franciscan rocks along trail. Grooved fruit. I'm using the Contra Costa Checklist and Ertter/Bowerman, but not sure here.
Beautiful red Papaver with Green pods that dry and open up brown.
Growing right on the side of a Trail within 2 or 3 miles from the Summit. Only specimen like it observed that day.
