Description
Found under seaweed in tidepool. From what I can tell there are three different slugs that all are pretty simular (this one, Geitodoris heathi, and Diaulula sandiegensis). This guy has marks on his edge, so I settled on this species but if anyone knows there slugs please give me identification pointers. Used Walla Walla's cite to help ID.

Description
This little ctenophore is about one cm long, with two very fine, unbranched tentacles. It eats primarily appendicularia. It is never very common, and is difficult to see because it is very transparent. It is usually found here in the spring.

Tail streamers a bit too long for juvenile Pomarine, I think, and there appears to be no white spotting on undertail coverts. Photo used by permission of Janice Sweet.

I took my mother out birding for Mother's Day. We covered Bolivar, High Island, and Anahuac today mostly from the car. We had lots of rain, but we still found lots of different birds.
