In the third photo, a second much smaller individual can be seen on the animal's back level with the top of the ear and roughly in line with its shoulder.

Tengo duda: no sé si son coloradillas o mostacilla. Hay larvas y ninfas y no sé si las más grandes ya son adultos. Son un verdadero incordio. Inside the Maya Biosphere Reserve (MBR), near El Tintal site, San Andrés, Petén, Guatemala.
