Description
I should note that an Eastern Kingbird was harassing the hawk. In the first photo, it's literally on the hawk's back. In the second, it is following the hawk.
I presumed that the hawk had gotten too near the kingbird's nest and the kingbird was defending the area. Or the kingbird was just in a really, really bad mood.
