Description
Hybrid Hirundo rustica x Delichon urbicum
with light rump.
This is not a single species.
Notice the fine small feathers at the tarsometatarsus. Feathered legs are typical for Delichon urbicum and a clear feature for hybridisation.

Noticed a weird larva I've never seen before on this spider. I thought it might have been a polyxenid millipede but it looks to only have 6 legs.

I have a 100 gallon tub of water near my house so wildlife can drink. Just as it was getting dark a short while ago something caught my eye and this small White-tailed buck came to drink. Somehow this fella got a plastic jug caught up in his velvet antlers...I hope he can get it off. I had to chuckle at this sight, however, something I had certainly never seen before. Anyway, he drank some water then trotted away. Hope he will be OK!

I've never seen this behavior before. I thought it was a turtle at first glance. It stayed in this position until I had completely passed by, them emerged an flew toward the clutch observed nearby.

a) The jumping spider resemblance is insane. b) The range of sizes among adults is insane. What is up with this fly.

The 5 first pictures were not taken in situ, I collected this and another specimen today thinking they were A. hirsutus and Only now noticed the triangular telson. I'm IDing them as C. breuili just because it's the only species recorded in Málaga as far as I know. Last picture is in situ.
