One of the most distinctive features of Virginia creeper is its tendrils. This is a common vine in my yard, and this one is suckering its way up my honeysuckle trellis.

Tentative. Something seems odd about this one. The lobing was far more pronounced than any of the nearby V. palmata. Also seems to lack the early unlobed leaves of V. palmata

I have moved a couple of the naturally occurring Asters into my yard to protect them long enough to try to identify. This one has very stiff leaves and rough. It is blooming just ahead of the other one that isn't as stiff but looks identical leaf and plant wise.
