The rostrum shape and prominent spines on the end of the postorbital ridges are both indicative of C. acuminatus. Incredibly strange find; appears to be more than 100 miles from the edge of it's known range. Caught in a boggy, slow-moving stream within a weed bed, which is equally strange considering this species' typical preference for rocky streams.

While I was out crayfishing I happened to get pinched by one with a deformed claw...it was actually the worst pinch I took in terms of damage
