Description

Growing on rotting hardwood log. Old growth forest with oak, maple, beech and elm. This location is close to a vernal pool. The cap was not slimy- reminded me of entoloma. Odor non- distinct. Attempted spore print but nothing after a week- likely dried out. This was an unseasonably warm week with frequent rains. Temperatures were in the 40s to 60s.
