There was a group of wild boar foraging in the shrubs. They were very near the trail (too close for comfort, actually). I didn't see them, but I heard them. You can hear the crunching sounds as they move through the thick brush.
I used my android phone to record the sound and Audacity to remove clicks and some background noise and to normalize volume according to the recommendations in the following video:
