Centaurea
Senecio inaequidens
Volunteers from previous year's plants, coming up in nearby lot. Tracked their growth from May 11, 2024 until they were killed June 14, 2024. Unfortunately, someone must have sprayed them with herbicide because they went from alive and green to shriveled and brown overnight.
Volunteers from previous year's plants, coming up in nearby lot. Tracked their growth from May 11, 2024 until they were killed June 14, 2024. Unfortunately, someone must have sprayed them with herbicide because they went from alive and green to shriveled and brown overnight. Throughout most of their time growing here, they were infested with thrips. Interestingly, they were doing fine growing in Texas without anyone watering them. Meanwhile, mine constantly need water!
