First time that I have seen Lewis's Woodpeckers on this rural property. And wouldn't you know it,
the telephoto focus on my camera was outta whack and I couldn't seem to readjust it that day.

Readjusted the long distance focus setting on my camera, and returned to the area where I had seen the Lewis's Woodpeckers a week earlier, and they were still there. However, they were very easily scared for whatever reason, and they stayed on the far side of the oak trees from me. The attached photos were the best that I could do for awhile.
