Background singing is Greengricers by a previous identification, but this has a second loud pulse.
thought to be either Atrapsalta vinea or Pauropsalta extensa. Hard to ID from photos. Found by Tom & Sam; lots about.
Mating pair
16 degrees Celsius. Quite small compared to Pauropsalta mneme also found in Mt Billy, and often on very low vegetation (e.g. parrot peas and bases of Xanthorrhoea)
