Caught in Bitterroot Drainage.
Many in tide pools left at low tide. Row of pale spots along dorsal mid-line, but otherwise plain gray. About 20 to 30 mm length.
Notes: mouth did not go past eye
Not sure if it’s a weird looking Staghorn Sculpin or some kind of goby
A group of these washed up on shore and we tried to put them back in the ocean. Many then got eaten by seagulls.
