Based on sound, I know there were cackling geese at this location...now I'm trying to figure out if I have any conclusive photos. The nuances of size, head shape, neck length, forehead slope, etc. are overwhelming me, but I think some in front could be cackling geese (2 in back are Canada geese for size comparison). In case it means anything, I put arrows at white collars.

Was birding with the Mississippi Coastal Audubon Society and observed 20 Cranes foraging together. Some Mississippi Sandhill Cranes with Florida Cranes.
