This is a fairly common species on the mainland in Puget Sound, but Vashon Island actually has very few recent records. Hanging out with a few goats in an open field adjacent to a small pond.
My first sighting of the season for this species! Hunting over open fields and a small pond, in the company of a couple of Barn Swallow and several more Violet-green Swallow.
