Saw these two coyotes hunting in the meadow. At one point, a dog entered the meadow. One of the coyotes was in the bushes at the time, but other was in the field. The one in the field crouched a little lower and approached about 10 yards closer to the dog (who was about 100 yards away). The dog gave chase and the coyote fled away in a direction that drew the dog away from the other coyote. The dog gave up pretty quick and left. Once the dog left, both coyotes came back out into the field. One of them found a plastic nipple from a water bottle and played with it for a bit before leaving it behind.
