These flowers are small and around half a centimeter. They are bright pink, purple, yellow, and orange. The distinct shape of the petals led me to classify this plant in the genus Lantana. The plant stores its seeds in its flowers. This link explains Lantana plants in detail: https://gardenbeast.com/lantana-guide/. This website let me to believe the ancestors of this plant were cultivated, and through time, seeds became displaced and now this plant grows in the wild. Lantana can be found around the world, but in the US, it is most common in the south.
