Evergreen perennial; heart-shaped leathery leaves with short rhizome; the leaves are crowded near the apex of the rhizome, and are dark green in color with silver patches; when in bloom, flowers have leathery sepals formed into a 3-lobed cup shape; flowers are pink, purple, and yellow-white in color.
Glabrous leaf surface and evergreen, heart-shaped leaves with light green variegation. Less than half foot off ground. No flowers present.
Small plant, low to ground.
