Raspberry bush found on the edge of a stream in multiple locations. This plant is very abundant in low-land forest areas. Wild raspberries are edible, and extremely delicious!

found by Barne's Creek. easily caught. slow moving. not slimy. easily handled and friendly. supposedly poisonous if ingested, causing numbing effects.
So just to be clear, this is a wild heron I encountered at the zoo. He was standing in the penguin enclosure probably waiting to steal a fish from the penguins. It was really cool to see him this close though!
