Wild bat found dehydrated on the Perth Zoo site (not captive). Admitted to vet for assessment and with a licensed carer who confirmed ID as holt's long-eared bat (used to be Gould's long-eared bat, but now recognised as separate new species Holt's long eared bat in WA)

Field Notes - Sadly we found this little guy while cleaning out our shed. Usually we spot them darting through the sky in the late afternoon into the night.
Phone GPS not accurate, was found within 10-15 meters of base of wind turbine.
