Separate individual on the same black cherry tree, Prunus serotina. There were at least 3 on the tree
On a leaf of burning bush.
I could see folded legs (looking like spider legs) on the sides of the small brown mass (the cephalothorax).
Longest dimension of the large globular part (the abdomen): 1.5 cm. The camera battery provides the scale.
Found at night with black light flashlight in my magnolia tree.
Found on the underside of an oak hanging over the trail.
