Male's dorsal fin orange with black margin (see second photo attached). This fish was abundant in the small river below the Salto El Limon (mostly females that lack the black and orange dorsal fin coloration). This is the only Limia species recorded at this locality, and the Samana Peninsula in general, by Weaver 2015 (https://scholar.colorado.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1071&context=ebio_gradetds). The fish we observed were attracted to us and picking at our skin.
