Passed this moth in the parking lot on the way to class.
I believe this moth is of the Dolba genus because it has a similar pattern with stripes of black/brown with spots of white and gray around the wings.

Delighted to encounter Cephalissa siria for the first time with @possumsend. Shaun caught the first slightly faded one, then eventually I got the second darker one about half an hour later after chasing after several Clematis Triangle and the similar sized Mnesictena flavidalis. Both were seen flying over (or disturbed from) Fuchsia perscandens (host plant) on the edge of boulder field.
