Eleven Hooded Mergansers swam together. The males seemed to try to attract the females by flapping their wings as they stood upright in the water.
A few lovely Golden-crowned Kinglets flittered in the trees.
I'm curious about the male Harlequin Duck at the left. Immature or eclipse plumage?
