outer sepal of what I believe is the cleistogamous capsule is a tiny nubbin (apically distinct for a distance of 0.2–0.5 mm -GoBotany key), as seen in the photo as compared with C. bicknellii.
One seed in the capsule. The two stems exiting the ground apart from each other.
Adult with two young that went foraging into pine/heath habitat burned earlier in the day.
