Serrulate, glabrate leaves. Unsure if the leaf blade bases should be considered "abruptly contracted" or "rounded". Unsure of persistence of the leaf-like petioles. Elevation only 400 ft along intermittent tributary to Columbia River. Capsules are glabrous. Juvenile leaves with white hairs. If not S. monochroma, could it be S. boothii?
Gland-tipped anthers; flowering bracts ovate; petals ~ 1/2 length of sepals. Stipitate-glandular.
