I’ve been unable to find a snail with a patterned shell like the one found at DST. iNaturalist suggests Garden Snail but the shell does not match. Help with the identification would be appreciated.
This shell has no teeth, but a a large spoon shaped projecting chondrophore (image 2). The pallial sinus is deep and extends beneath the beaks. It is confluent with the pallial line (image 4). The 'gape' is clearly visible (image 3). The shell is 4.5 cm long.
